Pro Plan Cat Kitten Optistart with Chicken 1,5kg
Complete food for kittens. Also suitable for pregnant and lactating cats. The food contains all the nutrients your kitten needs for healthy development. Suitable for kittens and neutered kittens from 6 weeks to 1 year. This formula has been specially designed to meet all of your kitten's nutritional needs during the first year of life. The balanced mineral content and high protein content supports healthy bone and muscle growth. The combination of OPTISTART® nutrients has been shown to enhance gut health and reduce the risk of digestive problems in kittens. Colostrum contributes to the balance of the intestinal microflora and strengthens immunity. It also helps promote healthy vision and brain development thanks to its DHA content.
Ingredients
Chicken (20%), dehydrated poultry protein, rice, wheat gluten meal, animal fat, maize, corn gluten meal, pea protein, cornstarch, dried eggs, mineral substances, flavouring meat extracts, yeast, fish fat, colostrum (0,1 %).
Analytical components
Protein 40%, fat content 20%, inorganic content 7,5 %, 1 % crude fibre, DHA 0.05%.
Feed dosing
See table. Kittens can be gradually introduced to PRO PLAN JUNIOR from 3-4 weeks of age. Mix the food with water to make it easier for the kitten to chew. As the kitten starts to eat more, increase the amount of food and decrease the amount of water added until the kitten is able to take the food on its own. Serve in 2-3 doses throughout the day or to taste. Feed a pregnant cat a minimum of 90 g/day, feed a nursing cat a minimum of 180 g/day or to taste. Please contact your veterinarian for more information. The feeding ration to maintain ideal body condition may vary depending on age, activity level, climatic conditions and whether or not the cat is spayed or neutered. For neutered kittens, adjust the amount of food to maintain their ideal body weight.
