Favea Bactoral Baby with vitamin D

The first oral probiotic to replenish the friendly microbiota of the throat, oral cavity and middle ear for children from 1 year and adults.

It contains a probiotic culture of Streptococcus salivarius K12, which forms peptides salivaricin A2 and salivaricin B, called salivaricin B. bacteriocins. This bacterium can take up strategic positions in the oral cavity, nasopharynx and middle ear and can displace undesirable species. Studies show that Bactoral is able to colonise the upper respiratory tract as early as 3 days after first administration and persist for 32 days after discontinuation. Vitamin D contributes to the proper function of the immune system.

When to take Bactoral

  • Whenever you need to replenish a friendly oral microbiome in the oral cavity, nasopharynx or middle ear.
  • After taking antibiotics to replenish and stabilize the oral microbiome.
  • Whenever you need to boost your immunity.

Active ingredients in 1 sachet

Streptococcus salivarius K12 (2.5 x 109 CFU*), Vitamin D3 0.75 µg = 30 IU (15% DRHP**).

Dosage

1 sachet once a day preferably in the evening after meals. Tear off the seal of the sachet at the marked point and pour the contents of the sachet into a small amount of lukewarm milk or other beverage, preferably in a baby bottle (temperature must not exceed 40 °C). Once the contents have dissolved, allow the child to drink the drink slowly by spoonfuls or through a teat with a smaller flow rate to ensure appropriate contact of the probiotic culture with the mucous membrane. For children from 3 years of age, the contents of the bag can be poured directly into the mouth (Avoid inhalation! ) and allow to dissolve freely in the mouth. Then do not eat or drink for at least 30 minutes. It is important to keep the contents of the sachet in the mouth as long as possible to allow the Streptococcus salivarius K12 bacteria to settle on the mucous membranes. To accelerate colonization, 1 sachet can be taken 2 times a day after meals. Bactoral Baby should not be combined with antibiotics. On the contrary, it is recommended to deploy it immediately after completion of antibiotic treatment in order to replenish the friendly microbiome of the oral mucosa. We always recommend using the whole pack. After that, it is possible to discontinue use for about a month and repeat the treatment again. Before the beginning of the winter season and during the winter (October-March), Bactoral baby can be taken for a long time 1 sachet per day without interruption.
