Two-year-old children learn to balance themselves. When they grow up and grow stronger, they will move smoothly to the classic treadmill and will not need sidewalks. FirstBike's greatest asset is the revolutionary GFR - glass fiber reinforced frame. Two-year-old children can learn to balance all by themselves. When they grow up and become stronger, they will move smoothly to a classic bike and will not need training wheels.
FirstBike's greatest asset is the revolutionary GFR - glass fibre reinforced frame. Using the latest technologies for plastic injection, a highly durable product with a light weight, long life, flexibility and extreme strength has been created.
A comfortable handbrake has been designed for young children who will build good habits and will not find it difficult to switch to a bike. The lever distance from the handlebar can be adjusted comfortably.
The handlebars do not allow for full rotation around their axes, making it easier for the young rider to maintain the right direction. This helps to ensure a smooth ride without unnecessary falls.
Two-year-olds are able to use their legs to brake while older, and much faster, children can use the rear wheel brake. FirstBike has a rear wheel drum back, not a protruding jaw. This ensures strong and safe braking in any weather.
The special shape of the seat provides for maximum comfort and stability. The seat ensures that the children stay seated when riding (unlike traditional bicycle seats).
Use the optional adapter to change the height of the seat. The height can be adjusted in the range of 34.5 - 44.5cm, while the seat can be reduced by a further 4cm for two-year-olds. This allows children to reach a height limit of 87cm.
The Cross version is equipped with top-of-the-line Schwalbe inflatable tyres that are ideal for off-road terrain.
