Petzl SM'D screw-lock
The Petzl SM'D screw-lock compact D-shaped carabiner offers high versatility of use and allows you to attach safety devices, pulleys, loop ends. It is made of aluminum, which makes it very lightweight. Due to its D shape, it excels in its easy handling, even through gloves, which will surely be appreciated by all mountaineers. The H-shaped cross-section makes the carabiner lighter while maintaining the same strength, and also facilitates handling. The marking on the surface is well protected against damage or abrasion. The Petzl SM'D screw-lock carabiner is also equipped with a Key Lock system to prevent accidental locking. Through a small hole under the latch, it is possible to connect TIBLOC or MICRO TRAIXON accessories with a cord to the carabiner to prevent them from being lost.

Screw Lock failsafe
The Petzl SM'D screw-lock carabiner is equipped with a screw lock for the latch, which can be used both locked and unlocked depending on the situation. You can identify the unsecured fuse by the red indicator. The carabiner is suitable for use even in demanding and extreme conditions, such as mud or ice, where it is possible that the automatic fuse would become clogged with dirt. The Petzl SM'D screw-lock provides you with a secure safety feature for all your outdoor activities.
