Megabit metallic-optical converter TP-Link TL-FC311B-20 with metallic RJ45 and optical SC / UPC connector will be used for data transmission over optical cable up to a distance of 20 km. It supports WDM technology and allows you to multiplex optical signals operating at different wavelengths using a single fiber, saving customers half the cost of installing a cable. Specifically, the TL-FC311B-20 sends data at a wavelength of 1310 nm and receives data at a wavelength of 1550 nm. Thanks to its compact dimensions, it can be placed really anywhere. In addition, the TP-Link TL-FC311B-20 can be used as a stand-alone device for automatic port type detection (MDI / MDI-X) on the other side of the transmission.
