Image Parameters
The 1/2" 8MP image sensor provides clear video recordings at 50 frames per second. The lens, with a focal length of 4.1–12.3mm and an aperture of F1.53–F3.3, offers 3× optical zoom for getting closer to distant objects. The wide field of view covers a horizontal angle of 109.9° and a vertical angle of 60°. H.264 video compression efficiently reduces the data rate while maintaining high detail quality. The sensor captures ample light in all lighting conditions.
Intelligent Event Detection
Advanced algorithms continuously analyse the scene and reliably recognise different types of objects. The system can distinguish the movement of people, vehicles, and animals from normal background noise. An integrated microphone records audio around the camera, supplementing the visual recording with a soundtrack. Smart object recognition eliminates false alarms and makes searching through recording history more efficient. The user receives instant notifications on their mobile phone only for genuinely important events.
Durable Construction
The robust aluminium and polycarbonate body with an IP67 rating withstands adverse weather conditions, rain, and dust. The device operates reliably in a temperature range of -20°C to 50°C. Its highly water-resistant construction ensures dependable year-round operation in outdoor environments. Power over standard PoE simplifies cabling, as a single Ethernet cable is sufficient for both data and power transmission.
Connectivity and App Options
Network connectivity is handled by a gigabit RJ-45 Ethernet port with PoE support. The device is managed via UniFi Protect software, which offers a clear interface for setup and live stream monitoring. Mobile apps for Android and iOS provide access to the video feed from anywhere in the world. The connection via a fast gigabit Ethernet port ensures a stable, high-resolution video stream without interruptions.
