4K resolution for details
At the heart of the camera is a 4K (8MP) sensor that captures images up to 3264×2448 pixels. Combined with a long-range lens and a narrow 36.2° field of view, you get the ability to monitor specific targets over longer distances without loss of detail. This is useful for monitoring tills, entrance doors or other critical points in commercial premises. Recording is smooth at 24 frames per second.
Image customisation and video compression
The camera offers image adjustment options, so you can adapt the recording to specific lighting conditions. You can adjust parameters such as colour, brightness, sharpness, contrast or white balance. The 2D and 3D Digital Noise Reduction (DNR) features help to clean up the image in low light. For privacy protection, you can use masking to cover selected parts of the scene. The video is compressed using the H.264 codec for smaller file sizes and good image quality.
Flush installation and construction
The lens body consists of an aluminium alloy and polycarbonate housing for mechanical durability. Power and data are both handled by a single USB-C cable from the main AI Theta Hub unit. The lens itself is small. The included flush mount kit enables you to integrate the camera almost invisibly into a ceiling or wall. An operating temperature range of -20 to 40°C is suitable for indoor environments.
