Adaptogens are well known among dietary supplements for their multifaceted and significant effects. Viridian's Adaptogen Complex is designed to amplify these effects to the maximum extent possible. It contains the roots of three species of ginseng - Siberian, Brazilian and Chinese, maté tea and damiana leaves.
Viridian Maxi Potency Adaptogen Complex
Chinese red (Korean ginseng) is the best known of all adaptogens. Around the world it is used to increase stamina, combat fatigue and as a general tonic. It reduces the levels of stress hormones released during a normal stress response, which can protect against and even reverse the negative effects of these hormones. Siberian ginseng is often referred to as a universal adaptogen because it seems to suit almost everyone and in almost every situation. It does not stimulate or sedate. It is native to Russia and has been traditionally used for over 4000 years as a general tonic, to increase appetite and support memory. It contains a group of active substances called eleutherosides, which early studies showed to limit the release of stress hormones during a stress response. Siberian ginseng is also known for its strong support of the defense shield, it is also energizing without acting as a stimulant.
Active ingredients
- Damian mhas a long tradition as a mood-enhancing herb for highly stressed individuals. It is also known as a natural aphrodisiac, especially for men. An important benefit of damiana is its ability to regulate blood sugar - it tends to lower it slightly. During a stress reaction, blood sugar levels fluctuate significantly, affecting mood, energy and the ability to cope with everyday stresses. Stabilising sugar levels can break this vicious cycle.
- Yerba Mate is a type of holly regularly consumed in Brazil, often as a coffee alternative and a quick kicker. It contains the alkaloids caffeine, theobromine and theophylline, which increase heart activity and thus improve blood circulation and oxygen supply.
- Suma is sometimes called "Brazilian ginseng". A very powerful adaptogenic herb used to increase endurance and to strengthen weakened individuals who have lost weight due to long-term illness. In this context, it is also used by athletes as an anabolic for building muscle mass. It contains a group of saponins called pfafosides, which - like the active ingredients in Korean and Siberian ginseng - help keep cortisol levels under control during physical and mental stress.

Recommended dosage
Take 1-3 capsules daily with meals or as recommended by your physician.
