AXAGON RSS-M2SD is an internal 2.5" aluminium box with a SATA interface, designed for SATA SSDs. The SATA 6G technology lets you reach speeds of up to 6Gb/s with your M.2 SSDs. The box supports other useful features such as TRIM, which limits the gradual performance degradation of an SSD over time. The practical design of the internal box allows you to insert an M.2 card with no capacity limit, up to a size of 22x80mm. The adapter can be used for both single-sided and double-sided M.2 SATA cards.
The appearance and dimensions of the adapter are the same as a standard 2.5" SSD. Its aluminium cover and high-quality construction help to dissipate heat from the M.2 SATA SSD. With an M.2 card inserted, your box behaves like a fast internal 2.5" SSD, both in the operating system and in the BIOS, and during booting. To achieve the highest speeds, we recommend connecting the internal box to a SATA 6G controller.
