The universal AXAGON EEM2‑GTS2 THIN SCREWLESS external enclosure with a 10Gbps USB interface is designed for M.2 NVMe or SATA SSD drives. A reliable connection is ensured by the reversible USB-C connector on the enclosure. The package includes not only a USB-C -> USB-C cable for connecting the enclosure to a computer, but also a USB-C -> USB-A adapter. This means you can connect the enclosure to any available USB port on your laptop. Thanks to the USB 3.2 Gen 2 interface, it achieves transfer speeds of up to 10Gb/s. The external M.2 enclosure supports modern features such as UASP, TRIM, and allows reading S.M.A.R.T. information monitoring the drive's status. It also supports a power-saving mode when idle. A unique feature, thanks to the chipset used, is the ability to use both NVMe and SATA drives. So you don't have to worry about what type of M.2 drive you put in the enclosure. Another advantage is the mounting for four different SSD card lengths – 30, 42, 60, and 80mm. The M.2 cards can be single-sided or double-sided. The enclosure has no capacity limit for the inserted SSD. The screwless opening of the enclosure significantly simplifies the installation and removal of the M.2 SSD. Swapping drives is quick and easy, which expands the enclosure's usability for tasks like data migration, testing, and other purposes. A higher surface temperature of the enclosure is not a defect; thanks to the aluminium body, the heat generated by the drive's operation is better dissipated and transferred to the surroundings.
