A universal external AXAGON EEM2-SB2 RAW box with a USB 3.2 Gen 2 interface for M.2 NVMe or SATA SSDs. The reversible USB-C connector on the box ensures a reliable connection. The package includes not only a USB-C -> USB-C cable for connecting the box to a computer, but also a USB-C -> USB-A adapter. This allows you to connect the box to any available USB port on your laptop. Thanks to the USB 3.2 Gen 2 interface, the transfer speed is up to 10Gb/s. The external M.2 box also supports other modern features such as UASP, TRIM and allows reading of S.M.A.R.T. information monitoring the disk's status. It supports a power-saving mode during inactivity. Thanks to the new chipset, it is possible to use both M.2 NVMe and SATA drives. You no longer have to worry about what type of M.2 drive you put in the box. Another advantage is the mounting for three different lengths of SSD cards—42, 60 and 80mm. M.2 cards can be single-sided or double-sided. The box has no capacity limit for the inserted SSD.

The Box
The screwless opening of the box makes assembling and disassembling the M.2 SSD drive easier. Swapping drives is quick and easy, which extends the use of the box for tasks like data migration, testing, etc. The outer metal shell is finished in black with an elegant brushed surface that prevents unwanted fingerprints. The aluminium body of the box, ventilation holes, and a thermally conductive pad ensure very good cooling of the inserted M.2 SSD. This extends its lifespan and also prevents the drive from slowing down due to so-called “Thermal Throttling”. By inserting an M.2 SSD into this box, you can easily create a fast, compact, and versatile external drive. The box can be used with computers and laptops, as well as with mobile phones and tablets.
