Mikrotik cAP lite

The MikroTik cAP Lite is an access point ideal for public areas like restaurants, hotels, airports, shopping centres and much more. However, it can also be found in homes and offices. It can be installed on the ceiling or on the wall. The package includes two covers - one for wall mounting and one for the ceiling. The covers can be easily replaced within minutes. The package also includes a design that you can print on your 3D printer to get an original cover for this Access Point. It also features support for the 802.11b/g/n WiFi standards, 2 × 2 MIMO, WiFi roaming, and the RouterOS operating system with the L4 license. The power is provided via Ethernet or by using the classic power adapter that is included in the package. This AP supports the CAPsMAN centra system manager, a system that allows you to set access points from a single location.

Dobry den. Ako je to s POE bude fungovat aj ked bude asi 30m po Eth napajany s pribalenym zdrojom? Alebo bude treba pouzit iny POE zdroj podla normy 802.3?

Dobrý den, chtěl bych se zeptat zda je nutné mít tento Access Point nastálo připojený ethernetovým kabelem k modemu, nebo zda stačí, aby byli propojené pouze během konfigurace a poté by Access point přijímal signál již bez kabelu a dále jej rozváděl do domu. Předem děkuji za odpověď.

Dobrý den, chtěl bych tímto Access Pointem nahradit stávající wi-fi router (pracující v režimu AP) ASUS WL-520GC (2,4 GhHz, jedna standardní všesměrová anténa 2 dB). Nebude to na úkor pokrytí (síle a všesměrovosti signálu)? J.
