The Panasonic LUMIX DMC-GH5 is the perfect camera not only for advanced photographers but also for filmmakers who will appreciate its ability to capture 4K UHD videos.
The camera is made of solid magnesium alloy and its housing is resistant to moisture and frost up to -10°C. With these protective elements, it can withstand even the most demanding weather conditions.
Enhanced image processor and 3D colour control
The resolution of the Digital LIVE MOS sensor has been raised to 20.3Mpx when compared to the previous GH4 model. The camera no longer has an anti-aliasing filter but it now boasts a Venus Engine image processor which has improved texture processing.
Multi-pixel Luminance Generation and Intelligent Detail Processing technologies ensure crisp and sharp detail. The 3D colour control system emphasises shade, sensitivity and brightness to produce rich and realistic colours.

Autofocus & sequential shooting
The new and improved Depth from Defocus autofocus system uses contrast comparison technology. In conjunction with the new image processor, this has significantly reduced autofocus times (only 0.05s in AFS mode). The system also allows for very fast sequential shooting (12fps with fixed focus, 9fps with continuous focus) in full resolution with a mechanical shutter.

Advanced colour processing
The camera supports the 4:2:2/10bit standard. This provides colour processing of such quality that it is acceptable for professional film production. More than 5 billion colours allow the camera to perfectly capture every photo you take.
Optical stabilization
The Dual I.S. 2 mechanical 5-axis image stabilizer effectively prevents camera shaking during exposure, both when taking pictures and recording videos. Additionally, the stabilizer can eliminate blur caused by a longer movement, which is a feature not available in conventional stabilization systems.
