DualSense gamepad for PlayStation 5
The new generation of the popular PlayStation 5 gaming console naturally deserves a brand new controller. Here it is, and it's called the DualSense. So, what are its key features? The controller has haptic feedback, adaptive triggers for the L2 and R2 buttons, a microphone, and yet it has retained the traditional layout of the controls.
The PlayStation 5 DualSense has a built-in speaker
The high-quality speakers integrated into the PlayStation 5 DualSense Wireless Controller Galactic Purple will broadcast sound directly to you. You can also use the integrated microphone to communicate with your teammates.
Motion sensor
The PlayStation 5 DualSense Wireless Controller Galactic Purple has a built-in accelerometer and gyroscope, which enables intuitive motion control in various game titles.
The PlayStation 5 DualSense Wireless Controller Galactic Purple is a gamepad with new features
A key new feature of the PlayStation 5 DualSense Wireless Controller Galactic Purple is the haptic feedback, which provides a much more intense gaming experience. And how does it work? In racing games, for example, it provides realistic resistance when driving a car (when going over various obstacles, etc.). Sony's designers have also changed the angle of the adaptive triggers, and the grip areas have also undergone minor changes.
The PlayStation 5 together with the DualSense will offer a new level of experience
Among the attractive new features of the PlayStation 5 DualSense Wireless Controller Galactic Purple are the adaptive triggers, i.e. the L2 and R2 levers on the back. They will have adjustable tension according to the settings in specific game situations. For example, in racing simulators, the trigger controlling the throttle will have a different resistance when driving on a straight, on a hill or on difficult terrain. That certainly sounds interesting!
The PlayStation 5 uses a redesigned DualSense controller
To communicate with your teammates, you can use the integrated microphone on the PlayStation 5 DualSense Wireless Controller Galactic Purple, and charging is now handled by a USB-C connector. The microphone eliminates the need to wear a headset with a microphone. The PlayStation 5 DualSense Wireless Controller Galactic Purple comes in a two-tone design – red and black, which is a significant change from its predecessor, the DualShock 4.
What games can you look forward to on the PlayStation 5?
More than 20 new games have already been announced for the PlayStation 5. The selection is clearly dominated by Horizon Zero Dawn 2: Forbidden West, Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Gran Turismo 7 and Resident Evil Village.

Sony Corporation is a Japanese company founded in 1946. Its headquarters is located in Tokyo. Its beginnings were humble. The first product sold under the Sony brand was a transistor radio. It was those radios that played a pivotal role in the company's expansion in the 1960s and the world quickly began to associate Sony products with a reliably stellar price-performance ratio.
In the 1970s, Sony was severely affected by the global economic crisis. Many analysts considered the company effectively defunct and could see no future for it. However, they underestimated the famous Japanese perseverance and courage. The crisis was not a disaster for Sony; on the contrary, it served as a launching pad to even greater heights. The company recovered and soon changed the media landscape with the development of the CD and later the DVD. In the early 1990s, Sony achieved another major success with the introduction of the PlayStation gaming console. It is the gaming consoles that best represent the intersection of the three key areas in which the company operates today – electronics, video games, and the entertainment industry.
