The Huawei Mate 9 is fitted with an unprecedented degree of hardware equipment. The brand new Kirin 960 chipset uses the big.LITTLE architecture combining four powerful Cortex-A73 cores and four less powerful, but also less battery-draining Cortex-A53 cores. It is also equipped with a Mali-G71 MP8 GPU. The graphics performance of the Mate 9 has almost tripled compared to Snapdragon 821 chipsets, for example.

Super sharp photos

On the back there is a beautiful dual camera with optical stabilisation, as the Leica partnership holds strong. The new model preserves the tradition of combining one classic colour sensor (12 Mpx) with a pure black and white sensor (20 Mpx). The second generation of this solution also includes a dramatically improved algorithm for combining images from the two sensors. The result are vivid and detailed images bursting with accurate colours. Images taken in low light conditions look great as well.

Loaded with features

The hardware equipment includes a fingerprint scanner on the back, allowing you to unlock the phone with a simple touch.
