Despite the overall economical design of the controller, the keys are wide enough, which reduces the possibility of hitting the wrong note.

Simple and universal control buttons
The Octave Shift buttons allow you to shift the pitch up and down in octave steps of up to four levels. In combination with the Key transpose function, you then get access to the entire note range of the MIDI spectrum . Other interesting functions include the Pitch Bend, Modulation and Sustain buttons. For each of these buttons, you can specify the speed on and off in four levels (in the Korg Kontrol Editor), so the changes will be smooth enough to match your playing.
Korg Kontrol Editor software
Korg nanoKEY2 uses software Korg Kontrol Editor, which you can download for free from the manufacturer's website (for Mac and Windows). After that, you can easily set the individual parameters in detail with its help. You have four dynamics settings, three dynamic curves and fixed values. In addition, you can enter Control change messages sent by the modulation and sustain buttons.
