Luminous Flux
Measured in lumens (lm), the higher the value, the more intensely the head torch shines. Some LED head torches offer multiple levels of light intensity, adjustable either in steps or seamlessly. However, a higher luminous flux reduces the battery life.Up to 100lm – head torch for home use (lighting in the cellar, attic, or for car repairs).
100–400lm – outdoor use (night running, cycling, camping).
Over 400lm – for extreme professions and sports (rescue workers, mountaineers).
