The Tescoma Paloma moka pot offers a traditional way to prepare strong, home-brewed coffee. Its appearance is based on the original design of the Moka Express model from 1933, which remains one of the most famous coffee makers in the world. The moka pot's volume is enough to prepare two cups of coffee. It is made of aluminium, which is food-safe and also specifically influences the flavour of the drink. The aluminium surface gradually absorbs the coffee's aroma and creates a delicate patina, which is important for achieving an authentic taste. This layer builds up over time, so we recommend cleaning the pot only with hot water, without using detergents, and definitely not washing it in a dishwasher. The moka pot works on the principle of pressure created by heating water, which is then forced upwards through the ground coffee into the upper chamber where the finished drink collects. The Tescoma Paloma moka pot is suitable for gas, electric and ceramic hobs.

Use:
The coffee maker itself consists of two parts connected by a filter for ground coffee. After unscrewing them, fill the lower chamber with cold water, keeping the level below the safety valve. Add coffee suitable for this type of preparation to the filter, reassemble the pot and place it on the hob. Within a few minutes, the coffee will filter into the upper part and be ready to serve. The result is a strong, rich-tasting drink with an unmistakable aroma.
